Palm Sunday

Today is Palm Sunday and after church we took a walk around town. We took Giuliana to the park where she went on a swing and down the slide for the 1st time! There was also a Lithuanian theater in the park playing music and putting on a little show for the kids.

After we went to the park we walked down Gedimino Street. In Lithuania they carry around dried plant bouquets called verbas on Palm Sunday. They make these in villages around Vilnius and sell them all over town. We walked through the street fair and you can see the people selling and carrying them around. If they don't have a verba then they walk around with small branches.
