6 Months Today!

Well Giuliana did not have a great start to her 6th month. She started the day at the doctors and got all of her vaccines + the flu shot. She is 17 lbs 7oz and 27.25 in. Kelly and I have been going through all of our videos and pictures and realized that we never posted video from when she was 1st born. So, below are a few pics of 6 months ago!

For some reason the end cut off.....I must have been going to give him a hug and a kiss......yeah right!

Next week is Halloween and we are going Trick-or-Treating at the US Embassy. Giuliana is going to be a honey bee so we will be sure to add pictures next weekend. Next Sunday we are headed to Poland for the week because we have our fall break. We are taking an 8 hour train......we will see how that goes:)

Hanging out in Vilnius

I took a walk outside yesterday because I am afraid it might be one of the last nice weekends in Vilnius. It was a little chilly but beautiful clear blue skies. I walked down Pilies St. with Krista to pick up a few souvenirs for some friends. Here are a few pics of the walk down to Pilies St.

Krista is a good friend we met in Bahrain. She followed us here to Vilnius. When we lived in Bahrain all of the girls would get together once a week to eat dinner and watch movies like North and South. Krista and I have kept the tradition a little bit alive by having dinner once a week. Giuliana loves to hang out with Krista!

We have been preparing for the winter that everyone is claiming will be the worst Lithuania has had in years!

She also has a new pair of Scottie Dog tights that I am sure Caki will love!

It's Getting Cold!

Right before we left Dallas Doodle stopped by to drop off Kelly's birthday present for me to pack and 2 more present for us to open when it started to get cold here. So naturally as soon as we landed and got to our apartment in August, the first thing I pulled out of the bags were the presents she instructed us to wait to open. How could I wait that long! We have been wearing them since August but now we really need them. Highs this week are in the 40s and lows in the 20s.

Giuliana is having to bundle up to stay warm in her stroller. The past few days we have had to get out the rain cover for her stroller. She goes on walks with her nanny daily, rain or shine! Cocos Thank you SOOO much for the rain cover. I do not know what we would do without it! And Caki, Thank  you SOOOO much for the sleeping bag! It keeps me nice and toasty on my long walks. Most of all, thank you Doodle for my awesome stroller!!!

Giuliana is getting more personality with every day. She smiles all of the time. Everyday we come home from school she looks at us like "who the heck are you?" That lasts for about 5 seconds and then she is all smiles. On Monday Kelly has basketball so he got home late. When he showed up Giuliana was so excited. She squealed at him and laughed and was so happy! It was so funny to watch and so exciting to see her reaction to her daddy!

I still haven't finished her family picture book that her doctor suggest we make for her. He thought it would be a good idea to show her family pics every night so when we get home next summer she will recognize her family. Around 6 months babies start to get stranger anxiety. Luckily it has only happened with one person here. Well maybe two; she doesn't really like her doctor here in Lithuania. She is 5 1/2 months old now and rolling over one way, sitting up in her chair, and eating dinner (rice cereal). She laughs and smiles all of the time and has a new screech she does when she wants your attention. I think we definitely have a dramatic little girl who loves attention. But, how could we not give her attention, she is the most beautiful baby girl in the whole world!
