What have we been up to?

Well, now that school has started we have been pretty busy. I am doing much better at leaving G home with her nanny. Her nanny, Grezina, is very sweet to Giuliana. She is also very sweet to us. (she does all of the ironing!:)  Giuliana has grown a lot since we were in Lithuania in June. Her mobile above her bed was not up for long when we returned. She could reach the little animals that hung down and she liked to hold onto their legs and put them into her mouth. Kelly walked in one day and the mobile was on her face and she was eating a donkey's leg. She won that battle! So, no more mobile. She is getting a little better about tummy time. As soon as we put her on the ground she rolls straight to her tummy, looks around and smiles at you and then screams for someone to put her back on her back.
School has been going well. We are starting our 3rd week of school. I am still teaching 3rd grade. I have a class of 10 and they are great kids! Kelly is teaching 4th grade again and has all of my students from last year. He also has a high school econ/govt class.
We celebrated Kelly's birthday by going out to eat with a few friends. Giuliana came along but fell asleep early into dinner, which was nice for us. We were able to have a drink and visit with friends.

Although Lithuania had a "hot" summer, the winter seems to be coming quick. She has already had to sport her winter coat a few times.

Now that Giuliana is almost 5 months we have started feeding her rice cereal, sweet potatoes and carrots. Yum!!
Below are a few videos of G. One of our friends here let us use their exersaucer for Giuliana to play in. G loves it and it is a HUGE help!
